GEMBROOK’S Ranges Hotel will star on the silver screen in an upcoming episode of hit-TV show, Neighbours.

The characters of Pippa Black, Sam Clark, Scott Major and Margot Robbie came to the hotel last week to film several scenes.

For Pippa Black, a former student of Beaconhills College who was recently voted one of FHM Magazine’s 100 sexiest women of the world, the shoot was a lot closer to her former home than the regular Ramsay Street set.

Publicity officer Kelly Davis said the story had them searching for another character, which leads them to the countryside.

She said Gembrook was an ideal place for the shoot, as it provided a rural setting close to Melbourne.

Signage on the hotel, in Main Street, was changed to the Rose and Thistle for the scenes. The Hotel was closed during the shoot.

Fans can expect to see Gembrook on screen in September.
