AUSTRALIA’S World Dwarf Games Team will be making their way to Ireland with the help of Melville Grange Hostel.

On 18 June, from 5pm until 9pm, the public is invited to a wine and cheese tasting night at Melville Grange Hostel to raise funds for the athletic team.

Diversional therapist Di Henwood said staff and residents wanted to lend a helping hand to Australia’s World Dwarf Games Team, which has not received any government funding to travel to and participate in the World Games in Belfast from 28 July to 8 August.

“We wanted to help out any way we could,” she said.

“The wine and cheese night will feature wines from local wineries.”

Attendees will also get to meet and mingle with some of the Australia’s World Dwarf Games Team athletes.

Tickets are $10 and are available at the door at Melville Grange Hostel, 80 Melville Park Drive, Berwick.

Anyone wanting further information can contact Di Henwood on 9768 9599.
